PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device capable of inhibiting variation of depth of engagement between a drive gear and a cable gear.SOLUTION: The drive device comprises; an electric motor driven by power being supplied; an output shaft 29 to which power of the electric motor is transmitted; a frame 26 for supporting the output shaft 29 to be rotatable around a shaft line B; a driving gear 22 fixed coaxially to the output shaft 29; two cables 17a and 17b that are arranged parallely across both sides of the driving gear 22 and have a gear portion 34 engaging with the driving gear 22; and a guide plate 36 that is fixed to the frame 26 across the two cables 17a and 17b and the driving gear 22 and controls movement of the two cables 17a and 17b in a radial direction of the driving gear 22. The guide plate 36 is fixed to the frame 26 to be movable in the radial direction of the driving gear 22.
