PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat treatment equipment capable of restraining generation of hazardous materials such as dioxins regardless of treating volume of combustible wastes, being applied to a small-sized incineration apparatus thereby, and performing various heating treatment by utilizing dry distillation gases generated at the time when various combustible wastes such as industrial wastes are burned and treated in a dry distillation furnace. SOLUTION: The heat treatment equipment comprises a dry distillation furnace 1 provided with an ignition burner 16 for generating dry distillation gases by burning fuel under supplying primary air with a limited volume, a secondary combustion chamber 2 provided with a secondary burner 22 for burning the dry distillation gases fed from the dry distillation furnace 1 under supplying secondary air, a vertical heat treatment furnace 3 for housing materials to be treated and performing heating treatment of the materials to be treated by introducing combustion gases fed from the secondary combustion chamber 2 from a lower side, and a tertiary combustion chamber 4 provided with a tertiary burner 42 for completely burning the combustion gases exhausted from the heat treatment furnace 3 under supplying tertiary air.
