PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle shift control device that is capable of preventing a vehicle from moving backward when re-accelerating after decelerating on an uphill road.SOLUTION: If a vehicle shift control device determines, according to an uphill road deceleration determination, that a vehicle is traveling on an uphill road and is in a state of deceleration (S210), and the shift position is in a drive (D) range (S212), a motor is normal (S214), the starting gear stage is a first prescribed gear stage or lower (S216), the target starting gear stage is a second prescribed gear stage or lower (S218), the actual even number gear stage is a third prescribed gear stage or higher (S220), and the actual odd number gear stage is a fourth prescribed gear stage or higher (S222), the vehicle shift control device puts a first synchronizing mechanism, a second synchronizing mechanism and a third synchronizing mechanism in a neutral state in which none of the gear stages are engaged. Subsequently, the first synchronizing mechanism, the second synchronizing mechanism and the third synchronizing mechanism are activated, shifting to a gear stage that is appropriate for re-acceleration (S224-226). |
