The purpose of the present invention is to reduce to as small a degree as possible the gap between a lining material and the inner surface of a conduit, in the curved section of the conduit. A sheet-shaped lining material (1) is rolled into a tubular shape, and in a state where both circumferential direction ends overlap in the circumferential direction, the lining material is installed in a conduit (P). In such case, the lining material (1) is installed at the curved section (P3) of the conduit (P) so that the overlapping portion (1a) of both circumferential direction ends of the lining material (1) faces the outer side of the curve of the curved section (P3). Next, the lining material (1) installed in the conduit (P) is subjected to diameter expansion while both circumferential direction ends are slid in the circumferential direction. This configuration enables, in the curved section (P3), the portion of the lining material (1) facing the outer side of the curve to become more easily expandable, and the gap with the inner surface of the curved section (P3) to become smaller.
