PURPOSE: A method for setting bookmark of an e-book and an apparatus thereof, and a recording medium storing program source about the method are provided to increase user experience, by setting the bookmark in a similar method as setting the bookmark in a real book. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen (1220) generates an input signal according to the operation of a user, and displays the screen according to an inputted control signal. A control unit (1210) recognizes the operation of the user on the basis of the input signal. If the recognized operation is judged as an operation of folding a currently displayed target page in the e-book, the control unit sets bookmark in the target page. If a first swipe operation is recognized along the boundary of a part which is not thumbed and a part which is being thumbed in the target page during thumbing operation of the target page, the control unit judges the swipe operation as an operation of folding the target page.
