摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of chamfering workpieces, which has mass-productivity and by which the working cost is reduced. SOLUTION: A hard container is prepared, the workpieces (fine metal chips, for example) are charged into the container and liquid is filled at the same time. Successively, linear vibration is imparted to the hard container in a hermetically sealed state. During the vibration is imparted, all workpieces in the container are collided with the inner wall of the container and, as a result, stress is concentrated to corner edge parts of the workpiece where plastic deformation is easily received and the corner parts are deformed like a round surface. By this method, products having no variation in the conditions of chamfering are mass-produced efficiently and at a low cost because chamfering is performed approximately uniformly to many workpieces at one time.
