PURPOSE: A corrugated steel pipe and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture unit steel pipes having the same large diameter by consecutively arranging the unit steel pipes and welding the ends facing each other. CONSTITUTION: A corrugated steel pipe comprises a steel pipe (2), a reinforcing ring (20), and blocks. Unit steel pipes (30) formed in a ring shape are continued and a boundary of the unit steel pipes is welded. The steel pipe is formed by rolling a unit steel plate, which has the predetermined width and length and of which both ends are formed in a concavo-convex shape, into a round shape. The steel pipe includes a convex part (11b) and a concave part (11a) welded corresponding to both ends thereof. The reinforcing ring is fixed to the circumference of the unit steel pipes to be perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the unit steel pipes. The reinforcing ring is arranged to be parallel to the cross sectional area of the unit steel pipes. The inner part of the cross section of the reinforcing ring is formed in a hollow shape. The blocks are arranged at regular intervals along the circumference of the unit steel pipes inside the reinforcing ring. |
