A process for the spark erosion machining of a workpiece using at least two wire electrodes determines the relative position of the wires (8) on the basis of the entry angle on a wire guide (6) and their different attitude to the work piece. Positional correction is then made by changing from one electrode to the next. An Independent claim is also included for an electro-erosion machine for the above process.
