PURPOSE: A power supply apparatus, wireless power transmission apparatus and power supply method are provided to maximize power transmission efficiency by reducing a power loss generated when converting a direct current power to an alternating current power through a power consumption protector. CONSTITUTION: A power supply apparatus (100) comprises a magnetic resonance typed wireless power transmission system (10) which comprises a power supply (110), a converter (140) and a power consumption protector (150). The power supply (110) supplies a direct current. The converter (140) converts the direct current to an alternating current. The power consumption protector (150) reduces a size of power for a harmonic frequency component by increasing input impedance for the harmonic frequency component in the alternating current power converted by the converter.
