摘要 PURPOSE: An irradiation apparatus, which is remotely controllable by being directly attached to an inspected object, is provided to prevent an inspector from being exposed to radiation by enabling the inspector to control the irradiation apparatus at a distance from an inspection place. CONSTITUTION: An irradiation apparatus (1000) comprises a housing, a second shielding material (132), a first shielding material (131), a radiation source guide (140), a safety member (500), and a drive unit. The second shield body is positioned inside the housing, and shields radiation which is irradiated from a radiation source. The first shielding material is separated from the second shielding material, and connected to a driving bar (120). The radiation source guide is mounted in the center of the shielding material. A radiation source connection bar (146) passes through a through hole when the radiation connection bar is inserted into the radiation source guide, and a stopping hole prevents the breakaway of the radiation source connection bar after the insertion of the radiation connection bar. The through hole and the stopping hole are formed on the safety member, in case the radiation source is mounted in the center of the second shielding material by inserting the radiation source connection bar with one end on which a radiation source is located into the radiation guide. The drive unit moves the first shielding material horizontally.
