PURPOSE: A corrugated steel pipe and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to flow fluid in steel pipes without interference with corrugations because the corrugations are not formed on the interior of the corrugated steel pipes. CONSTITUTION: A corrugated steel pipe comprises a steel pipe(3) and reinforcing rings(10). A unit steel sheet is spirally rolled and the boundary portions of the rolled unit steel sheet are lock-seamed(2) to form the steel pipe. The reinforcing rings are fixed on the circumference of the steel pipe at right angle to the longitudinal direction of the steel pipe. The reinforcing rings are arranged in parallel to the cross-section of the steel pipe and are fixed on the exterior of the steel pipe at same intervals. |
