SOLENOID OIL DAMPER

PURPOSE: A solenoid oil damper is provided to reduce the noise and vibration of a solenoid oil damper while rotating by easily varying a damping force using a solenoid and a magnetic material ball installed inside the oil damper. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid oil damper is installed with a piston. The lower part of the piston is joined with a rod (40). The piston vertically reciprocates inside a cylinder (20). The piston is made of an insulating material. The piston is formed with an orifice hole (12) in a vertical direction and a magnetic material inserting hole in a radial direction. The magnetic material inserting hole is inclined from the external circumference to the center of the piston. The orifice hole is connected to the magnetic material inserting hole. The upper external circumference of the piston is installed with a solenoid (50). The cylinder is applied with magnetism to position a magnetic material ball (30) at the joint of the orifice hole and the magnetic material inserting hole in order to prevent oil from passing through the orifice hole when the solenoid is electrified. The cylinder loses magnetism to position the magnetic material ball at the lower part of the magnetic material inserting hole to allow oil to pass through the orifice hole when the solenoid is not electrified.
