PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for manufacturing a worm shaft plug, and the worm shaft plug of a steering apparatus for a vehicle manufactured by the same are provided to have an advantage for mass production, to increase part productivity, to minimize fraction defective, and to increase size accuracy. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a worm shaft plug comprises an upper mold, a lower mold, a target processing board (5), and multiple processing parts (31-37). The upper mold comprises punches and dies. The lower mold comprises dies and punches corresponding to the punches and the dies of the upper mold. The target processing board is arranged between the upper and the lower molds and unidirectionally moves at a regular pitch. The punches and the dies are arranged in the processing parts. The processing parts are arranged at a regular interval along a moving direction of the target processing board. The processing parts contain a piercing processing part, an upper chamfer processing part, a shaving processing part, a lower chamfer processing part, a half-blanking processing part, a re-strike processing part, and a knock-out processing part. |
