PURPOSE: A touch sensing apparatus for remote control of an electronic device is provided to use a micro touch screen as input, whose screen size is relatively smaller than a finger, instead of a conventional touch screen whose screen size is larger than a finger. CONSTITUTION: A contact detection circuit (202) recognizes positions of contact sensing electrodes where contact for a touch screen occurs. The contact detection circuit detects contact input by recognizing the position of a bundle bar pattern including pattern types of more than one adjacent contact sensing electrode among the plurality of contact sensing electrodes. A micro control unit (MCU) (203) generates control information by controlling the operation of a remote control device on the basis of the contact input. A transmission unit (204) transmits the control information to an electronic device.
