摘要 PURPOSE: A system and a method for monitoring, diagnosing, and estimating the wear condition of a bearing for a low-speed diesel engine are provided to prevent loss generated when the bearing is damaged by monitoring and diagnosing the wear condition of the bearing in real time. CONSTITUTION: A system and a method for monitoring, diagnosing, and estimating the wear condition of a bearing for a low-speed diesel engine comprises multiple cross heads, brackets (21), first and second digital sensor modules (22,23), connectors (27), signal cables (28), a moisture sensor (25), a signal processing unit (24), and a data processing unit (26). The cross heads vertically move along guide shoes (13). The brackets are installed on a crank case wall under the guide shoes. The first and second digital sensor modules are installed in both ends of the brackets to measure distances to the bottom dead center of the cross heads. The connectors connect the first and second digital sensor modules. The signal cables transfer distance data collected from the first and second digital sensor modules to the outside of a crank chamber. The moisture sensor measures moisture contained in the internal oil of the crank shaft. The signal processing unit collects and analyzes the distance data between the bottom dead center of the cross heads and the first and second digital sensor modules and the moisture data receiving from the moisture sensor. The data processing unit remotely monitors and displays the data collected and analyzed by the signal processing unit.
