METHOD FOR DECODING QC-LDPC CODE

PURPOSE: A qualification cyclic (QC)-low density parity check (LDPC) decoding method is provided to reduce throughput and performance degradation by maintaining specific parallelism. CONSTITUTION: A QC-LDPC decoded signal is received. A parity check matrix comprised of a sub-matrix based on the received signal is generated. When MDSM exists in the generated sub-matrix, a variable node reads the result of check node update. Variable node update and a check node update include a decoding method using a minimum summation algorithm.
