PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for detecting an object in a lane, capable of detecting an object if the object enters a lane within a regulation range such as a toll gate of a toll road.SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 for detecting an object in a lane, detects the entry of an object into a lane 52. The apparatus includes: period information acquiring means 13, 14 in which period information 11, 12, periodically provided in lengthwise direction on at least one side of the lane 52 in width direction, are acquired on the other side; and detection means for detecting an object in the lane 52 on the basis of changes in the period information 11, 12 acquired by the period information acquiring means 13, 14. |
