PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect coordinates at all the time by automatically expressing a calibration function and eliminating influences of environmental light when an attitude change or a positional change such as vertical/horizontal movement occurs in a display device with an optical touch panel.SOLUTION: A display device comprises an optical coordinate input/detection device which includes a plurality of light-emitting means and a plurality of light-receiving means and detects two-dimensional coordinates of light shielding means inserted into an optical path from a light intensity distribution of the light-receiving means with respect to a difference of optical paths between the light-emitting means and the light-receiving means. The display device further comprises light intensity fetch instructing means and coordinate computing means. When an attitude change/movement of a display is detected, the light intensity fetch instructing means instructs storage of light intensity detected by the light-receiving means into light intensity storage means. When computing the two-dimensional coordinates of the light shielding means, the coordinate computing means computes a differential between a light intensity distribution read out of the light intensity storage means and the light intensity distribution detected by the light-receiving means, detects a dark point caused by the insertion of the light shielding means from a differential computation result, and computes the two-dimensional coordinates. |
