PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a circuit in a developing device from being broken due to the flowing of a large current by preventing the generation of magnetic saturation in a transformer caused by the change of the duty ratio of a control signal.SOLUTION: The developing device includes a developing roller facing a photoreceptor drum and carrying toner, a magnetic roller supplying the toner to the developing roller by a magnetic brush and peeling the toner from the developing roller, a capacitor, the transformer whose primary side is connected to the capacitor and which outputs an AC voltage applied to the developing roller from the secondary side of the transformer, and a control signal generation part generating the control signal inputted to the capacitor and adjusting a DC bias value of the control signal, according to the change of the duty ratio, so that when the duty ratio of the control signal is changed, the DC component of the control signal is equal before and after the duty ratio of the control signal is changed. |
