PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a toner capable of reducing the occurrence of fogging.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of toner comprises the steps of: mixing a charge control resin fine particle suspension having charge control resin fine particles dispersed therein and toner a base particle suspension having toner base particles dispersed therein so that a rate of the charge control resin fine particles to the toner base particles exceeds 100 mass% relative to the maximum adhesion amount of the charge control resin fine particles to the surface of the toner base particles; filtering the resulting mixture liquid to remove charge control resin fine particles that are not adhered to the toner base particles; adding an adhesion promotor for promoting adhesion of the charge control resin fine particles to the toner base particles; and heating the mixture liquid so that the specific surface area of the toner base particles including the charge control resin fine particles after heating becomes 110% or less relative to the specific surface area of the toner base particles before the charge control resin fine particles are attached thereto. |
