<p>This invention provides a system for rapidly acquiring a virtual computer memory dump without affecting the service of a guest OS. A computer system provided with a computer on which a virtual computer operates, and a storage system for storing a dump file that includes the contents of a virtual memory, wherein a guest OS is executed on the virtual computer, and the computer has a virtualization management unit for managing the virtual computer, the computer system being provided with a dump acquisition part, the guest OS having a bitmap management part for managing a bitmap of the virtual memory, the virtualization management part having a bitmap monitoring part for monitoring the bitmap, the bitmap management part assigning a flag to the bitmap bit corresponding to the address where updated data is to be stored when data stored in the virtual memory has been updated, the bitmap monitoring part referring to the bitmap in a periodic manner, acquiring updated data, and generating update information, and the dump acquisition part updating the dump file on the basis of the update information.</p> |
