The invention relates to the field of medical technology that is being developed for biology and medicine. Disclosed is an apparatus for generation of a high gradient magnetic field in wells of a biological plate containing permanent magnets that have a cylindrical shape, axial magnetization and alternating polarity and are periodically arranged on a flat surface of a magnetic core, have a period equal to the period of arrangement of the wells in biological plate, while the diameter of magnets d is associated with the diameter of wells D by a ratio d = (0.7-0.8)D, and the height of magnets h is connected with diameter thereof as h = (0.7-1.2)D. Technical result: generation of a strong high-gradient magnetic field in the wells of biological plate.
