PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable more accurate recognition of a measurement starting position by detecting the supporting conditions of a power pole and an insulator.SOLUTION: During the travel of a measurement vehicle 1, a first image showing the supporting condition of a power pole or an insulator 100 is sequentially picked up, and the first image picked up is compared with a second image previously stored to enable recognition of whether the measurement vehicle 1 arrives at a measurement starting point or not, and when it arrives at the measurement starting point, then measurement is started. When the image of the power pole or the insulator exist in the first image, matching determination is performed between the image and the second image, and when both images are matched, whether the measurement vehicle arrives at the measurement starting point or not is determined on the basis of the first image and then the measurement is started. When the image of the power pole or the insulator does not exit in the first image, or when the measurement vehicle does not arrive at the measurement starting point, the processes are undone and repeated again. |
