PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine automatic stop/start control device which can quickly put a starter into a stop state upon detecting abnormality of an idle stop control microcomputer, and enables an engine to restart early by causing the idle stop control microcomputer to quickly return to the normality.SOLUTION: An engine control microcomputer 13 monitors the presence or absence of abnormality of an idle stop control microcomputer with two systems of a direct line 19 which transmits a watch dog signal and a communication line 20 which sends and receives information of dedicated monitor, when detecting the abnormality of the idle stop control microcomputer 14, switches a starter relay driving allowance signal DA into the driving inhibition side of a starter relay 17, turns a transistor 21 off, thereby, turns the starter relay 17 off (turns energization to a starter motor 19 off) to inhibit the driving of a starter 18 and outputs a reset signal to the idle stop control microcomputer 14 to reset the idle stop control microcomputer 14. |
