A method of production of pipes in a plant with Pilger mills includes heating a workpiece, obtaining a shell, rolling the shell on a mandrel into a pipe on a Pilger mill, cutting the pipe into measured (multiple) parts, heating and subsequent deformation of the pipe. After preheating deformation of the pipe is carried out simultaneously in two groups of stands of mill of longitudinal rolling, wherein in the first group - breakdown group having at least two stands, deformation is carried out on the retained cylindrical mandrel with elongation 1.1-1.4 and in the second group - finishing group, comprising at least three stands, deformation is carried out along the outer diameter without the mandrel. |
