PURPOSE: To provided a novel heart beat detector to obtain a heart rate and a heart beat synchronization signal. CONSTITUTION: A heating body 2 provided at the tip of a catheter 1 is heated by a heating control circuit 6 and how the temperature of the heating body 2 is lowered by the beating of the heart is detected by a temperature detector 3 connected to a heating body temperature measuring circuit 8 to calculate a heart beat synchronization signal and a heart rate from a timing of change in temperature obtained by a CPU circuit 7. |
