PURPOSE: An interface setting device of a portable terminal and a method thereof are provided to conveniently set an interface in the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: When a portable terminal is turned on, a control unit (110) transmits identification information extracted from a SIM card in the terminal to a server. The control unit downloads a binary corresponding to the identification information received from the server. The control unit sets an interface of the portable terminal.
