PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray capable of reducing time and effort for housing a sheet while properly maintaining operability of a side guide.SOLUTION: A paper feed tray 21 includes: a bottom plate 75 having a mounting face 76 for mounting supplied recording paper; a side guide 77 having inside faces 78 sliding in a horizontal direction 9 and abutting on right and left ends of the mounted recording paper; a rear guide 80 attached to the right side guide 77, changing an attitude between a protruded attitude (attitude of Fig.4) where the rear guide protrudes to the left side beyond the inside face 78 and a retreated attitude where the rear guide retreats to the same position as the inside face 78 in regard to the horizontal direction 9, and abutting on a front end of the recording paper mounted in the protruding attitude; and a guide groove 99 provided in the bottom plate 75, changing the attitude of the rear guide 80 from the retreated attitude to the protruded attitude along with sliding of the right side guide 77 to the left side, and changing the attitude of the rear guide 80 from the protruded attitude to the retreated attitude along with sliding of the right side guide 77 to the right side. |
