PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of steel cord which can control unevenness of torsion in the longitudinal direction of the steel cord with simple facility and steel cord which is thereby provided.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of steel cord has a twisting process twisting steel wire to make steel cord and a winding process winding up the provided steel cord to a winding spool through a hanger pulley. A traverse pulley 7 is arranged between the hanger pulley 6 and the winding spool 8. When the winding spool 8 is looked from the front face, an angle &thetas; between a line connecting the hanger pulley 6 and the axial direction center of the winding spool 8 and a line connecting the hanger pulley 6 and the traverse pulley 7 is within 3° with a modulus. |
