<p>PURPOSE: An indenophenanthrene derivative makes a device with long lifetime and excellent luminous efficiency and brightness when used in the organic material layer of an organic electroluminescent device. CONSTITUTION: An indenophenanthrene derivative is represented by chemical formula 1. An organic electroluminescent device comprises an anode (20), a cathode (80), and the indenophenanthrene derivative between the anode and the cathode. The indenophenanthrene derivative is included in a light emitting layer (50) between the anode and cathode. The organic electroluminescent device includes one or more layers selected from a hole injection layer (30), a hole transfer layer (40), an electron blocking layer, a hole blocking layer, an electron transfer layer (60), and an electron injection layer (70).</p> |
