PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding hardness confirmation device and a winding hardness confirmation method by which a wound body formed by winding a web around a hollow core tube is unnecessary to be taken down from an inspection machine of the wound body, which can apply a load with appropriate size to the side surface of the web of the wound body, and enables anyone to easily confirm winding hardness of the wound body when the winding hardness of the wound body is confirmed.SOLUTION: A winding hardness confirmation device 40 includes a contact part 46 which should be brought into contact with the side surface of a web 14 in a wound body 10, a push-in handle 48, an elastic body 44 provided between the contact part 46 and the push-in handle 48, and a contraction amount display part 50 which shows a contraction amount of the elastic body 44 when the push-in handle 48 is pushed in toward the contact part 46; and is constituted so that the contraction amount of the elastic body 44 when the push-in handle 48 is pushed in toward the wound body 10 in which the contact part 46 is brought into contact with the side surface of the web 14 is displayed on the contraction amount display part 50. |
