Accordingly it is a principle object of the present invention to overcome the disadvantages and limitations of prior art methods and systems and provide a method and system for channel and program selection in accordance to the user's choices and preference constituted in accordance with the principles of the present invention wherein the system will carry associative functions of the method for predicting channels and programs in accordance to the user's choices and preference.
