<p>WEATHERPROOF ROOFING PANELS The present invention relates to interlocking, decorative roofing panels. The prior art has provided decorative roofing from non-traditional building materials which suffered from the disadvantages of being heavy, or wore provided in relatively small units, requiring substantial labor to form a water-tight roof, or were without means for water tightness. The present invention provides multiple decorative units on a single panel, minimizing the number of joints, and furnished with interlocking means which provide the requisite water tightness without difficulty in installation. Simple means for fastening the panels to the roof are provided. The interlocking joints provide for a pleasing appearance by hiding discontinuities. The panels may be fabricated of light weight material of low cost.</p> |
