The container (5) has a base element, a side element and a cover, where the cover is movably mounted on the side element. The cover rests on the side element in a closed state. The cover has a flat element, and forms a molding at a side in the form of a protrusion which is arranged perpendicular to the flat element. The side element is parallelly arranged in the closed state of the protrusion of the cover, such that the protrusion and the side element partially overlap. An independent claim is included for method for creating a grave.
