The method comprises gradually bringing two longitudinal sides of a metal strip close to each other to form an U-shape, depositing a flow of filling formed of filling elements between the longitudinal sides, continuing the deposition for the connection of the longitudinal sides of the metal strip in the U shape until an unsealed O-shape in a tubular form is formed, welding together the two longitudinal sides of the metal step in the tubular form to obtain a welded wire, and drawing and/or rolling the wire of an initial diameter until obtaining a filled wire of final diameter of 0.8-5 mm. The method comprises gradually bringing two longitudinal sides of a metal strip close to each other to form an U-shape, depositing a flow of filling formed of filling elements between the longitudinal sides of the metal strip after forming the U-shape, continuing the deposition for the connection of the longitudinal sides of the metal strip in the U shape until an unsealed O-shape in a tubular form is formed, welding together the two longitudinal sides of the metal step in the tubular form to obtain a welded wire containing the flow of filling and having an initial diameter of 10 mm, and drawing and/or rolling the wire of the initial diameter until obtaining a filled wire of final diameter of 0.8-5 mm. The flow of filling contains a proportion of = 2 mass.% of materials that encourage the flow to slide along inside the wire during the welding step. The materials have an average granulometry of lower than 150 mu m. The welding is carried out by a laser beam. The level of filling in the deposition step is 10-50%. Independent claims are included for: (1) a filled wire; and (2) a method for arc welding using the filled wire.
|
