PURPOSE: A Korean input method for a keypad enabling the consecutive input of consonants on the same button by long pressing in a repetitive selection method and a device thereof are provided to efficiently input a target word by using an index while applying a full input method. CONSTITUTION: A consonant button is once pressed and a promised consonant is recognized in response to the pressed button. The pressed consonant button is pressed longer and the recognized consonant is recognized once more in response to the long pressed button.
