PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind noise preventing device which enables visually handicapped persons and the like to easily converse and go out in windy days by reducing wind noise.SOLUTION: There is provided a wind noise preventing device for covering all the region or a part of the head including the ears to reduce wind noise, which includes cheek and ear-covering portions for covering a surrounding region including the ears and the cheeks to prevent invasion of airflow into external auditory canals, an eddy-extinguishing means comprising a fluff-like body for covering the surfaces of the cheek and ear-covering portions, and a fixing means for fixing the cheek and ear-covering portions and the eddy-extinguishing means onto the head, and thus environmental sounds and conversations can be heard, even when staying in strong wind such that having a wind velocity of more than 10 m/s, as the invasion of the airflow into the external auditory canals is blocked, a main bone conduction sound is reduced and a main secondarily generated sound is also reduced to prevent the wind noise. |
