PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device in which an airbag can be inflated promptly and after the lapse of a prescribed time from the end of expansion gas discharge and expansion, inner pressures in a plurality of expansion parts can be made uniform.SOLUTION: In an airbag device, an airbag 20 includes an airbag body 21 and an inner tube 60. The inner tube 60 is provided within a branch passage 25 of the airbag body 21 and supplies an expansion gas G of an inflator to a plurality of expansion parts (front window shielding expansion part 28, rear window shielding expansion part) and after the discharge end of the expansion gas G, a check valve part 65 provided in a gas outflow part 63 of the inner tube 60 is closed by an inner pressure in the expansion part (front window shielding expansion part 28). In the plurality of expansion parts communicated by an auxiliary communication passage E1 formed between an inner peripheral surface of the branch passage 25 and an outer circumferential surface of the inner tube 60, the inner pressures are then made substantially uniform after the lapse of a prescribed time, thereby protecting an occupant during rolling-over. |
