PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in operation feeling that a driver has due to change in steering characteristics when a steering wheel is replaced and inertia force changes.SOLUTION: A steering device includes inertia force specifying means 102a of specifying the inertia force of a steering wheel 11 and characteristic correcting means 102b of correcting characteristics of steering angle acceleration of the steering wheel according to the specified inertia force. Further, target steering torque is determined based upon a steering angle corresponding to driver's steering operation. When the target steering torque is determined, characteristics of steering angle acceleration obtained by differentiating the steering angle in two stages is taken into consideration. |
