PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deliver messages to a mobile communication device regardless of carrier dependency of a mobile phone line network.SOLUTION: A message delivery system in embodiments includes: a connection processing unit which establishes a connection state for message delivery between the system and a mobile communication device on the basis of a connection request from the mobile communication device, and maintains a plurality of established connection states between the system and a plurality of mobile communication devices; a transmission unit which transmits messages to the plurality of mobile communication devices in the connection states established by the connection processing unit at prescribed timing independent of message delivery requests from the mobile communication devices; and a message reception control unit including a connection management unit which operates in a mobile communication device, requests connection for the reception of a message delivered by the transmission unit, and maintains a connection state established between the device and the connection processing unit, and a message management unit which hand over a message received via a radio communication network to a terminal side application. |
