PURPOSE: A visible light communication system and visible light signal transmission and reception method are provided to maintain steady power by compensating transmission power and by applying AMC and TPC technology. CONSTITUTION: A photo detector(201) receives an optical signal transmitted a visible light emitting device of a transmission apparatus. A measuring unit(209) measures brightness using the optical signal. A determination unit(211) calculates a heat-generating temperature of the visible light emitting device using brightness measured by the measuring unit. The determination unit determines transmission power compensation of the optical signal according to the heat-generating temperature. The determination unit transmits a transmission power compensation request with the heat-generating temperature through feed-back channel to the transmission apparatus. |
