PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus for a thermoelectric conversion element that is capable of extracting electric power from a thermoelectric conversion element at low cost with efficiency.SOLUTION: A control apparatus for a thermoelectric conversion element includes: a thermoelectric conversion element 1; two resistors Rand Rthat are serially connected to each other and are parallelly connected to the thermoelectric conversion element 1; a voltage hold circuit 3 that holds a voltage applied to the latter resistor Rat an off time of a changeover switch Sw operated by a trigger from a timing circuit 2; a circuit 7A that calculates a difference between the voltage of the voltage hold circuit 3 and an output voltage of the thermoelectric conversion element 1; and a current control circuit 5 that establishes connection through a PWM generation circuit 4 in proportion to an output of the circuit 7A, wherein at predetermined intervals, the timing circuit 2 issues the trigger to have a capacitor C hold a voltage at the time of generation of an open voltage of the thermoelectric conversion element 1 and then outputs the held voltage to the current control circuit 5. |
