PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter capable of detecting an open-phase before driving a motor.SOLUTION: An inverter control unit 11 sets a torque current command value in a torque current control unit 21 to 0, and generates three-phase voltage command values Vu, Vv, Vwunder conditions of setting a turning angle &thetas; in an angle calculation unit 33 to a predetermined angle. An inverter 10 feeds a DC current to a motor M on the basis of the three-phase voltage command values. When a state where a magnetization voltage command value exceeds a predetermined threshold continues for a predetermined time, an inverter control unit 11 determines that an open-phase has occurred. |
