ENGINE WITH VARIABLE FLOW RATE OIL PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily put on/take off a variable flow rate oil pump to improve maintainability in an engine with the variable flow rate oil pump.SOLUTION: An engine includes: an oil pump unit 101 equipped with an oil passage switching valve 121 for adjusting supplied oil pressure to an oil pressure supply destination from a main oil pump 106 and a suboil pump 107; and a clutch cover 45 which can be put on/taken off from an engine body from an external side thereof. The oil pump unit 101 is supported only by the clutch cover 45 and can be put on/taken off from the engine body integrally with the clutch cover 45.
