PURPOSE: A system for executing widget in IPTV and a method thereof are provided to modularize an engine for widget execution for management and installation of a widget. CONSTITUTION: A widget management unit(110) connects an application server. The widget management unit installs a widget in an IPTV service terminal. The widget management unit manages widget information which is registered by the user. A widget execution controller(140) executes the widget in the IPVE service terminal based on a request of the widget management unit . The widget management unit and the widget execution controlling unit are operated based on the platform by different computer languages. |
