PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving device which can switch between analog and digital broadcasts, between analog broadcasts, and between digital broadcasts, and can reproduce a currently reproduced program without a break.SOLUTION: Receivers 21 and 22 can receive both analog and digital broadcast waves. A system controller 8 makes a speaker SP reproduce a program being received by the receiver 21, 22 on one side of the receivers 21 and 22, and further searches for an alternative station broadcasting the same content as the program being reproduced by using the receiver 21, 22 on the other side. The reception state of each of the two receivers 21 and 22 is acquired, and if the reception state of the receiver 21, 22 receiving from the alternative station is found better than the reception state of the receiver 21, 22 receiving the currently reproduced program, the currently reproduced program is switched to a program included in broadcast waves from the alternative station, which is then reproduced by the speaker SP. |
