PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film capacitor capable of suppressing ignition of flame or fire even if a dielectric film is short-circuited without providing a portion not contributing to expression of capacitance in a conductor layer.SOLUTION: A dielectric film 5 includes a first area 5A and a second area 5B having different contents of ceramic particles 11. The content of the ceramic particles 11 of the second area 5B is smaller than that of the first area 5A; and the second area 5B is formed in a belt shape having a width w narrower than that of the first area 5A, and is arranged to split the first area 5A in opposite directions of a pair of external electrodes 3. |
