PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an information processing device for managing patient information to reliably acquire measurement data measured with medical equipment.SOLUTION: An information processing device 110 for managing measurement data comprises: means for receiving a start command for a measurement data management program; means for displaying an initial window on a display section when receiving the start command and controlling display brightness of the display section; and means for determining whether or not measurement data of a blood sugar meter 120 is available through a mounting stand 130 on which the blood sugar meter 120 is mounted. The information processing device 110 controls the display so that the display brightness of the display device is decreased during a period from when the information processing device 110 is started until when it determines availability of the measurement data and the display brightness of the display device is restored to normal brightness after it is determined that the measurement data is available.
