PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To circulate coolant within a closed space in which a motor is housed without using an external unit such as a pump.SOLUTION: A motor includes a rotor 66 having an output shaft, a stator 64 around which a coil is wound, and a casing housing the rotor 66 and the stator 64 and encapsulating coolant therein. A skew is given to at least either one of the rotor and the stator. A hollow part 90 is formed in the output shaft and extending in an axial direction. The hollow part 90 has an opening in the casing at an end surface of the output shaft on a side where a coolant level is higher due to rotation of the rotor 66, and a through hole 94 communicating with an interior of the casing at a vicinity of the other end opposed to the end surface. |
