PURPOSE: An uplink control data transceiving method for a radio communication system and a device thereof are provided to efficiently allocate resources for transmitting control data. CONSTITUTION: A sub-frame in which the acknowledge data about downward link transmission is transmitted determines the transmission setting of a scheduling request. A format and resources for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) in which the acknowledgement data is transmitted are determined. Using the format and the resources of the PUCCH, the acknowledge data is transmitted. When the transmission of a scheduling request is set in a sub-frame, if the acknowledge data corresponds only to a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) which is received only on a primary cell (PCell), the acknowledge data and the scheduling request are sent using PUCCH format 1a/1b.
